Below we have gathered various practical information that can be good to know before your visit to this year's Stockholm Open at the Royal Tennis Hall.

You will among other things, find info on how to get here, tickets and entrances, security inspections, wardrobes, food and beverages, accessibility on-site, and health and safety. We also want to draw your attention to the fact that the Stockholm Open is a cash-free event.

Getting here 

Stockholm Open is played at the Royal Tennis Hall in Stockholm. Address: Lidingövägen 75.

You can get here easily from central Stockholm on foot, by public transportation, by bike or with our very own Tennis Bus. We strongly recommend leaving the car at home.

The Tennis bus: Together with Nobina we can offer all guests a comfortable and sustainable alternative to get to the arena. Our very own tennis buses, with the first departure from Norrmalmstorg 1h before the first match start of the day, are free of charge when presenting a valid tournament ticket. Only 27 seats per bus and a first-come, first-served policy applies. Read more and see the timetable here.

Public transportation: The nearest metro station to the arena is "Gärdet" from which it's about a 9 min walk to the Royal Tennis Hall.

By bike: Bike racks/ parking is placed just to the right of the main entrance out by Lidingövägen. Electric scooters can also be parked here. Please note: Electric scooters must be placed in the designated area so as not to block emergency exits at the entrance. No electric scooters inside the arena area.

By taxi: Taxi drop of is at the main entrance on Lidingövägen 75, but all taxi pick up will be directed to the designated taxi area by Storängsvägen 8 - please give this address when ordering a taxi. 

By car: There is no parking at the arena, so for those of you who come by car, we recommend looking for parking in surrounding areas such as Östermalm, Gärdet, or Norra Djurgårdsstaden.

Tickets & Entrances

Your ticket is scanned on arrival at the ticket entrance. The main entrance and ticket service takes is primarily at Lidingövägen 75.

VIP and corporate guests are welcome via the main entrance at Lidingövägen from which you will be referred to your special entrance. If arriving by car, the alternative route is via the taxi area behind Storängsvägen 10. See the site map where entrances are shown.

Please note that children up to the age of 6 may attend the tournament free of charge in the company of a paying adult, but do not have their own seat reservation.

Security Screening & Inspection

Please note that to ensure guest safety, all who enter the event area, both guests and staff, will pass through a security screening/padding, including inspection of all personal bags. No weapons, chemicals, or other harmful or inappropriate substances or objects may be brought on site. It is the security staff's prerogative to assess and decide what is considered harmful or inappropriate.

Please note that no larger bags may be brought into the arena and, unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to store luggage in the wardrobes on site. Smaller bags such as handbags and/or briefcases may be brought into the arena after being inspected and approved by staff on site. 

In order for professional photo and/or recording equipment to be approved, press accreditation is required.

Accreditation

Accreditation for staff, volunteers, the press, etc can be collected at the accreditation desk.

This can be found to the right of the main ticket entrance seen from the street, near the bus stop. See site map.

A valid ID is required to be able to collect accreditation, which must also have been pre-registered with the respective area manager.

Wardrobes

Manned wardrobes can be found inside the main entrance for SEK 20:- per hung object. Payment by card (credit or debit) or Swish.

VIP and Business guests have their own wardrobe at the VIP entrance and the cost is included in the ticket price.

Please note that no larger bags or luggage may be brought into the arena and, unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to store luggage in the wardrobes.

Cash-free

Please note that the Stockholm Open is cash-free. All on-site sales units accept most standard credit and debit cards, as well as Swish.

Food & Beverage

At the arena, there are several F&B places with different focus and price ranges, both in our food court, café and bars.

No outside /brought-in food or drink may be consumed in the area, with the exception of baby food / canned food for the very youngest.

Accessibility

We endeavor to provide a high standard of accessible facilities for visitors with a disability, including those using a wheelchair. For people with disabilities or mobility impairments, most of the arena is adapted for accessibility and there are also specially adapted seats by the center court.

Disabled visitors with mobility impairments pay the regular entrance fee. A companion or assistant to, and arriving with, a guest with mobility impairments has free admission upon presentation of a certificate of the role. The companion/assistant must be at least 16 years old.

Health & Safety

All around the arena our volunteers and staff can be found, who all work to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, players, and staff.

If you need help or medical care - please talk to any of the staff members or arena hosts on site, and they will assist you and/or guide you to the medical team. Our healthcare team is on-site to help with both smaller and more serious matters. 

Covid-19: The health and safety of our visitors, players, and staff is always our top priority. We follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations and ask that our visitors do the same.

All players have special protection and are tested regularly during the tournament. Staff and volunteers who show the least symptoms are also tested.

Players and staff who test positive or visitors who show symptoms of illness will be removed from the arena. We appreciate that you as a visitor also follow the authorities' recommendations not to attend public events if you have symptoms and/or you are not fully vaccinated.

If you can't find what you are looking for or need more information, you are always welcome to the main entrance at Lidingövägen. Of course, you can also talk to one of our arena hosts who will do their best to assist you.

Opening hours

Generally, the doors open 1h before the first match start of the day, and the arena closes around 1h after the last match has ended.

Exact closing times are difficult to determine due to the nature of the sport, and later or different closing times may occur.

The text here can be updated if beforehand known deviating closing times are confirmed.

Please note: Thursday is divided into two sessions, an afternoon session, and an evening session. The arena is emptied at 16:00, or after the first 4 matches of the day have ended. At 17:00 the arena reopens and the evening tickets apply.

11: 00- 16:00 Afternoon session - Afternoon ticket applies

17: 00- 23:00 Evening pass - Evening ticket applies
