Zverev, Shapovalov and now Casper Ruud

All of them ready for the Stockholm Open in November 2021

Now the next big tennis name can be presented for this year's Stockholm Open. Norwegian 22-year-old Casper Ruud has in a short time risen among the world elite and is now number ten in the world rankings. Ruud thus joins the Stockholm Open-ready players Alexander Zverev, world four and Olympic gold medalist, as well as Denis Shapovalov, reigning Stockholm Open champion.

Casper Ruud is the next shooting star to be presented ahead of the 2021 Stockholm Open at the Royal Tennis Hall. He joins already signed 22-year-old Canadian Denis Shapovalov and 24-year-old Alexander Zverev from Germany.

The Stockholm Open is the world's oldest indoor tournament on the ATP tour, with a history of over 50 years, and is played according to tradition at the Royal Tennis Hall in Stockholm.

I'm very much looking forward to returning to Sweden and the Stockholm Open. The last time I played on Swedish soil it went really well and I hope to be able to perform at least as well again. See you in Stockholm, says Casper Ruud.

On September 29, in connection with the easing of the Covid related restrictions in Sweden, all tickets were released for sale for this year's tournament, November 6-13. Tickets are available for purchase through tickster.com
